Many stores offer some savings, but not every store has a price match guarantee. It’s even harder to find a store that will match online prices, which are typically lower than in-store prices.
In this guide, we’ve compiled a list of popular stores that price match online retailers. Most of these sites have a few exclusions, but it's usually easy to request a price match if you're polite and have a copy of the competitor's ad or website.
You can request the match in-store when you make a purchase or contact Guest Services within 14 days after a purchase.
JCPenney’s Lowest Price Guarantee Policy is very similar to Target’s. They price match an identical item if the price is lower on JCPenney.com or at any online retailer. They don’t price match third-party sellers, marketplaces, or auctions. You can also request an adjustment up to 14 days after a purchase.
Bed Bath & Beyond
Bed Bath & Beyond offers a Price Match Promise that says they’ll match the price of local competitors and online competitors. They don’t price match marketplaces or third-party sellers, and you can’t stack a coupon with a price match. You can price match in-store or online, and you can ask for a price adjustment within 14 days of a purchase.
Best Buy’s Price Match Guarantee says the store matches local retailers and a handful of select online retailers. They won’t match third-party sellers, and Black Friday deals aren’t included. You can price match online or in-store.
Home Depot offers a Guaranteed Low Price Guarantee that works online or in-store. The item must be identical, and there are a few exclusions. Shipping is an additional charge. Third-party sellers, close-out sales, misprints, etc. aren’t included.
